The legendary artist, Andy Warhol, once said, "They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself".
To me, this is one of the most powerful philosophies to keep in mind and a constant reminder to take a proactive approach to all things in life, to continuously innovate and to embrace the opportunity.
It's particularly pertinent to me as Head of Automation at The Missing Link, where it's my role to research industries and smart technologies, then apply this new-found knowledge and the expertise of our great team, to help customers become more successful.
I'm also able to draw on my many years of experience, having helped businesses to be more efficient through commercial consulting and automation. Over time, I've consulted to a wide variety of sectors and prior to joining The Missing Link led a start-up to sustainable profitability delivering successful robotic process automation solutions for clients.
My line of work means that my mind is constantly engaged with the challenge of finding effective solutions for clients. To wind down, I enjoy yoga, playing golf and fishing. But most of all, I love entertaining my two daughters.
My favourite gadget is one that gives me extra time for all of this – my robot vacuum cleaner.
