Sometimes, we're a clever bunch. Here's a snapshot of some of our most recent cleverness.
Alana Reynard, Senior Infrastructure Architect, won the Technical Excellence Award at ARN’s Women in ICT Awards in November 2017. Alana has over 13 years’ experience in Australia & the UK, holds over 19 vendor certifications and is a member of our Technical Leadership Team.
Aaron Bailey, Chief Information Security Officer, took home the Management Excellence Award from ARN. Aaron won the award in recognition for growing The Missing Link’s Security division in size and cutting-edge services. Aaron has grown the security team by over 50 per cent, brokered new vendor partnerships, recruited new customers and opened a Melbourne office.
Clare Burman, Senior Sales Executive, won the award following an outstanding year of sales excellence. Clare has directly influenced The Missing Link’s growth by increasing her contract sales by 35 per cent, which was on top of a growth rate of 89 per cent during the prior year.
We are proud to be recognised as the Mimecast Rising Star for 2017! Mimecast is a leading provider of essential cloud services for Microsoft Exchange. Westpac Banking Corporation recognised The Missing Link Security in 2016 as one of their 200 business of tomorrow. To qualify in the final 200, businesses must demonstrate to the judges that they are shaping Australia’s future in ways big or small. We are one of “200 businesses today, ready to take on tomorrow.”
After experiencing 333.26% growth in 2016, we were awarded the number 1 spot in CRN’s Fast50. We were the largest company to top the Fast50 in five years; and the only company to crack $10 million without acquisitions. It is the fourth time The Missing Link has featured on the prestigious list. This year's inclusion was driven by the strong growth in our Security division, headed by Aaron Bailey & Sam Marshall.
And we’re very good at accepting them too.
We were proudly awarded Innovation Partner of the Year 2017 recently at the Carbon Black conference in Malaysia.
The Missing Link Security saw a 332.5% revenue growth in 2016, the second largest growth rate on the list. Under the management of Aaron Bailey and Sam Marshall the company has experienced year on year growth since its inception in 2013.
In 2016 we earned our place as a CRN Most Versatile Provider / Most Valuable Partner once again in the only program that recognises IT providers based on their aggregate partner status across multiple leading vendors. Each partner selected for the program has a proven depth of knowledge of vendor technology and the industry landscape to justifiably be labelled the best of the Australian IT channel.
The Missing Link WON the Mimecast PARTNER INNOVATION award for 2018! Congratulations to all the finalists and winners. We were amongst some incredible talent and we are very proud of our team.
