It’s my job to help our team deal with legal issues so they can concentrate on delivering excellent results for our clients and our suppliers.
I joined The Missing Link in February 2020, and I haven’t regretted a day since. It’s satisfying to use my legal skills and experience to help achieve win/win outcomes, and that happens more often than you’d expect! But what I love most about working with The Missing Link is being part of a group of smart, hard-working professionals who care as much about each other as they care about getting ahead in business.
I’ve been inspired by lawyers like Lionel Murphy, Michael Kirby and Joan Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and writers like Mark Twain and Arthur C Clarke. I’ve worked across many sectors, particulary information technology, financial services, telecommunications, and not-for-profit.
When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me playing music, spending time with family, cooking, and feeding my loyal cat along with whichever of my three teenage children happens to be speaking to me at the time. I also enjoy pretending to exercise with old friends and reading books (on paper).
I have a few gadgets that I’d describe as ‘amazing’. Towards the top of the list are my smartphone, electronic piano and music software – they all help make life better - but at the very top is my vegetable peeler: without that, life would be a real tragedy.
