At The Missing Link, our people are what set us apart. Their expertise, commitment, and care for what they do underpin the outcomes we deliver for our clients every day. But strong capability is only part of the story.
Through this series, we spotlight the individuals behind the roles, getting to know who they are beyond work by sharing the experiences, interests, and hobbies that shape them and influence the culture we’re proud to build.
From early ambitions of becoming an army medic to building a fast-moving career in IT, Tayha’s journey has been shaped by curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help others succeed. As a Service Experience Lead, she plays a key role in supporting both technicians and clients, guiding teams through challenges and helping people better understand the systems they rely on. Thoughtful, supportive, and quietly driven, Tayha brings a people-first mindset to everything she does.
Let’s take five minutes to get to know her better.
I grew up in Sydney, around the Northern Beaches, which meant plenty of time outdoors and by the water.
My dream job was to become an army medic. My first paid role was doing data input for a super fund. Along the way, I’ve also worked in childcare, been a Pilates instructor, and volunteered as a first responder, so it’s been a bit of a mix!

My IT career kicked off at a small MSP on the Northern Beaches, where I spent just over a year developing my core technical skills. I then joined The Missing Link as an L1 and, within nine months, progressed into the role of Service Experience Lead.
I’d met quite a few people from the team at social and networking events before joining. Everyone was genuinely friendly and kind, and we used to joke about me working there one day. A few months later, a role opened up, I applied, and the rest is history!
I’m a Service Experience Lead, supporting the Service Operations team. I help guide technicians through day-to-day client tickets and troubleshooting challenges.
What I enjoy most is empowering people to succeed, whether that’s training and supporting new technicians or helping clients better understand their systems and resolve issues with confidence.
I want to keep exploring new skills and emerging IT services, while continuing to mentor and empower others. Helping people build their understanding, confidence, and curiosity in the industry is something I really value.
I wouldn’t call myself a tech-freak, but I’ve always loved video games, especially story-driven games or anything that allows for multiplayer shenanigans or chaos. My family and I are big Nintendo fans, particularly Mario Party.
Right now, my favourite gadget is my gift-to-myself Switch 2. I used to be a big PC gamer, but after a long day, I’m much happier on the couch playing Pokémon or digital board games.

I’d start with a beach walk, hit the gym, then spend the day doing something creative, relaxing, or adventurous with family or friends. I’d finish with another beach walk or dinner at the headlands and end the night reading with my kitten curled up on my lap.
Going to the gym, reading, spending time with friends or family, or diving into a creative hobby.
I love creating all kinds of things, including making video games, writing stories, painting, drawing, and cooking. I also enjoy finding cosy spots to relax and read. I have a three-year-old kitten named Biscuit, who loves to play fetch.
