Meet Clare Burman-Reynard, Sales Manager at The Missing Link, who uses Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 to work closely with our sales team, partners and customers throughout her day on any device, from any location.

7:45 am

Clare starts her workday at home by checking over her scheduled meetings for the day in the Outlook mobile app. While on her phone, Clare checks the Activity Feed in Teams to see if she has received any notifications that require action.

8:30 am

After her morning coffee, Clare identifies a post where she was @mentioned with high priority by her team member Matt. Since Office 365 is cloud-based, Matt has saved a PowerPoint presentation to their channel in Teams so Clare can add her comments.

9:00 am

Since most of her team are on the go working remotely, Clare has set her daily catch up virtually with her team. They connect directly in Teams and turn on their video, so it feels like a face to face meeting, even when working remotely.

Clare and Matt co-edit the presentation in real-time. With real-time collaboration in Teams, Matt can see the presence indicator and changes Clare is making as they occur! They then use Teams Meet Now to discuss the next steps.

While on her lunch break, Clare takes her dog Murphy for a walk. While at the park, she receives a call from one of her clients via her Teams mobile app. With the integration of Cloud Voice, Teams allows users to make and receive calls from anywhere, on any device by a single phone number.

2:00pm

Coming back from lunch, Clare gets notified of a channel conversation started by Adam, informing everyone about a new workflow. By using Power Automate, the sales team now gets updated in the Leads channel when a new lead comes through our website. Clare starts a private chat with Adam and uses a Giphy to communicate her excitement over the workflow!

4:00pm

Clare prepares for the sales meeting tomorrow, where she uses Power Bi to create interactive, immersive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into the sales team's performance. Clare will share her screen in tomorrow's meeting and discuss these insights. The meeting will also be recorded for the members that we're unable to make it.

At the end of the day, Clare looks at all her team's tasks in Planner to ensure assigned tasks and due dates are up to date. Before signing off, she receives an email from one of our vendors and forwards it to the Pricing channel so her team can review the pricing update in the morning.
