Home schooling - learn with our outside the box suggestions

As the Australian Government continues to enforce stricter self-isolation rules, the number of people working remotely in Australia is growing.

With parents being encouraged to keep their children home than sending them to school, a lot of parents are adjusting to working from home while juggling the act of being a full-time teacher.

This is bringing new challenges to Australian homes, and we want you to know you're not alone.

Here at The Missing Link, a lot of our team members are working from home with their little ones, and we know a quiet work environment is currently hard to find. To help, we've compiled a list of fun educational resources that will help to keep children engaged and educated (and quiet 😀):

  • The Australian Reptile Park has been posting educational videos (10 am every day) and live streams (2 pm) on their Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Taronga TV is bringing their zoo straight to your living room with live zoo-cams where you can watch the daily talks and feeds.
