I recently had the honour of representing The Missing Link at Cloudflare’s Global Connect event in Las Vegas. From the outset, the energy, innovation, and sense of community were genuinely impressive.
The conversations across the sessions were engaging, forward-thinking, and most importantly, highly relevant to the evolving needs of our clients. A standout was seeing how Cloudflare continues to empower developers through its expanding platform. This includes Workers, AI inference tools, and new integrations that make building, securing, and scaling applications simpler than ever. The ongoing focus on performance and security remains unmatched, but what stood out this year was how developer-centric the innovation has become. It’s clear Cloudflare is focused on building not just a faster and safer internet, but one that enables developers to create without limitations.

There were also some great conversations about the future of zero trust frameworks, AI-assisted network management, sustainability in data delivery, and edge computing. Each session reinforced how essential flexibility, speed, and trust are in today’s digital landscape. Cloudflare is continuing to evolve to meet those expectations.
A personal highlight, and one of the most surreal moments of the trip, was stepping on stage to accept the Global Growth Partner Award on behalf of The Missing Link. It was an incredibly proud moment and a testament to the strength of our partnership with Cloudflare, as well as the exceptional collaboration and outcomes our teams continue to achieve. This recognition reaffirms our shared commitment to pushing boundaries and creating meaningful impact for our clients.

Beyond the sessions and keynotes, the opportunity to connect face-to-face with Cloudflare’s global partner network and clients added real depth to the experience. Las Vegas was the ideal setting: vibrant, dynamic, and full of energy, reflecting the momentum coming out of Cloudflare Global Connect.
The event left me genuinely energised, inspired by what’s possible, and excited for what’s ahead in our journey with Cloudflare. It reinforced how closely aligned we are on the future of the internet and gave me a clear sense of how we can continue to push boundaries and lead together.
