The Work Stuff

Growing up, I always wanted to join the Air Force as I was very interested in fighter jets. However, I had a tremendous fear of being on fast-moving objects at extreme heights, so I decided I wanted to work on the ground as an engineer and distance myself away from my fear of heights.

My first paid job was working at KFC, where I spent most of my weekends working and indulging in some delicious chicken 🍗. After leaving school, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do so I worked in various jobs, one being a Barista. If you know me, then you know I love the sound of my own voice, so this role was a lot of fun as every day I was able to engage and interact with customers.

Whilst jumping around in jobs, I began studying IT, which led me to my Service Experience Engineer role at The Missing Link. Since then, I've progressed to Network Support Engineer, which is a field I thoroughly enjoy.

What I love most about my role is being surrounded by people that inspire me every day to work hard, gain experience and follow my passions. Now, I love what I do, and when I look back, the best thing I've ever done was jumping forward to begin my career in IT.

The Tech Stuff

I do consider myself a tech-freak, especially when it comes to video games and consoles. In my spare time (when I'm not outdoors) you'd most likely find me playing FIFA or Call of Duty on my PS4.

Besides from my PS4, my top gadget would have to be my phone as it allows me to order UberEats to indulge in! The weather app would also have to be a close second as it enables me to pick wardrobe essentials for the day, which can be handy with Sydney weather!

I continuously try to keep up with the latest tech trends, but due to how fast tech moves, it's nearly impossible! Josh, our support team colleague, always keeps me up to date with the latest devices, which is useful, especially Apple products!

The Fun Stuff

As a kid, I spent a lot of my time playing sports, especially soccer, or should I say football?! ⚽ When I wasn't outdoors, I was inside mixing discs and developing a passion for music which led me to buying my own DJ equipment to pursue my hobby.

I still have a passion for the outdoors and sports though my current hobbies are wakeboarding and camping. My family own a campsite area near the Hawkesbury River, so when I get the chance to relax, I head down and get out the boat and wakeboard! When I'm not camping on the weekends, you'll find me catching up with my friends over dinner or having a drink (or two).

My dream day would include having a BBQ on a sunny day at the beach, relaxing with friends and a few beers!
